Differences between Dry and Wet Films

Medical X-ray film is primarily used for printing X-ray, CT, and MRI images. Currently, both dry and wet films are commonly available on the market.

Specific differences:

Dry film (Film sec)
More commonly used in hospitals
Used in dry laser imagers
Does not require developer or fixer
Imaging is achieved through thermal imaging or laser exposure
