A comprehensive hand function training table is a piece of occupational therapy equipment designed to help individuals with hand impairments restore finger mobility, grip strength, and wrist flexibility through active exercise.

Key Training Functions
Finger Flexion, Extension, and Grasping: Modules for cylindrical grasping, spherical grasping, and whole-hand pinching help build finger strength and palmar control.
Thumb and Lateral Pinch Training: Targeted exercises to improve thumb opposition, lateral pinch coordination, and the precision of fine motor movements.
Wrist Mobility Training: Exercises for wrist flexion/extension, ulnar/radial deviation, and forearm pronation/supination to restore the range of motion and rotational capacity of the wrist joint.
Resistive Strength Training: The equipment typically features adjustable weights, allowing patients to select varying levels of resistance based on their recovery progress to gradually enhance muscle strength and endurance.

Target Users
Individuals with hand impairments resulting from neurological conditions, such as stroke-related hemiplegia, traumatic brain injury, or spinal cord injury.
People recovering hand function following fractures, joint replacement surgeries, or burn injuries.
Elderly individuals undergoing rehabilitation, children with developmental hand function impairments, and patients requiring improved hand-eye coordination.
Note: This equipment is not suitable for individuals who lack any ability to perform active hand movements; use should always follow an assessment by a rehabilitation therapist.

Typical Configuration
A training table generally consists of a tabletop, various training modules, and a weight system. A standard setup typically includes 10 to 12 training modules and a weight range of approximately 250g to 2,750g. The table height is adjustable—with some models offering electric height adjustment—to accommodate patients training in either a seated or standing position.
