LFM-648 is a handheld optical medical instrument used to examine the fundus (retina, optic disc, blood vessels). It provides approximately 15x magnification of a monocular, two-dimensional, narrow field-of-view (approximately 5°) view. By adjusting the built-in lenses and light source aperture, doctors can directly observe the internal structures of the eye.
